A Minor Meltdown

The Kalamazoo River

The weather has warmed up in the last few days (up into the 50’s) and melted all the snow we’ve been having. I took this opportunity to visit my favorite hiking spot: the Kalamazoo Nature Center.

The temperature is supposed to dramatically drop today, so we’ll be back to snow. It was nice to get a tiny respite from winter.

Jill, these are incredible wonderful photos. I love the leaves but then the log with the fungus or maybe. The rose with the rain drops…they are all stunning

  3. Lovely images, I particularly like the fungus on the tree

You’ve chosen the best way to get through winter, get out and enjoy it. Now do I take my own advice? Not so much! Every time it warms up, it rains endlessly, so I still don’t go out!
