Apple Blossom Time

A song has been going around my head the last few days. An old song, one that I heard back in the olden days; on the Sing Along with Mitch TV show in the early 60’s. Just follow the bouncing ball:

I’ll be with you in apple blossom time.

I’ll be with you to change your name to mine.

Someday in May,

I’ll come and say

Happy the bride, the sun shines on today.

What a wonderful wedding it will be,

What a wonderful day for you and me.

Church bells will chime, you will be mine

In apple blossom time.

The ornamental fruit trees are all at their peak right now. It’s as if we had a late snowfall of white blooms. Just beautiful.

Because of all the cool weather we’ve been having this spring, the forsythia bushes and magnolia trees are also still in bloom now as well.

  1. Isn’t it wonderful to have spring pictures to take after so much dreariness! And, you definitely took some great pictures. I remember Sing Along With Mitch, too.

  2. Hi Jill,
Those trees sure have pretty blooms! Nice photos!
