I thought Chipmunks were ground squirrels? Someone didn’t get the memo.

  1. Fabulous photos, the turtle shell is beautiful! I have a bit of a soft spot for chipmunks. I’m hoping as our Ceanothus is setting so many seeds this year that the pair of Allen’s chipmunks we’ve had in the past will grace us with more visits this summer. They seem to love the seeds. The Cardinal shot is great “Sir, how is your dinner?” Don’t the waiters always ask right as you indulge in a forkful of food!? 😛
